My YouTube channel subscriber count triples in an hour

Image
Yesterday evening I decided to check on my YouTube channel the day after I uploaded the above video about the "Crosta and Mollica" breadsticks and to my surprise the video had gone viral ...if you count getting 5 views in 1 day as going viral at least. When you take into consideration that none of my other videos could get any more than 2 views across a single day, it seems like my work is finally starting to get the recognition it deserves. Looks like actually writing a script for the video before I film it really did make a difference. One thing worth noting is that the 5 views was from only 10 impressions. All my other videos (besides the 1 subscriber special) have over 20 impressions but none have any more than 6 views. Whats strange is that all 5 views the video got so far were all within 1 hour on Monday and hasn't gotten a single view since. Regardless, the video has also got me 2 new subscribers overnight and my first 2 likes(but still no dislikes). Here's t...

Crosta & Mollica Breadsticks Review

Image
Sorry I haven't done a review in a while. Then again, no one reads my blog anyway(besides myself). So today, I will be looking at these breadsticks from "Crosta & Mollica". According to the boxes, they are all made in Italy, where breadsticks were originaly invented. I've got four types here:     Classic Grissini     Classic Torinesi     Black Olive Grissini     Black Olive Torinesi My parents are buying these all the time from Sainsbury's and/or Waitrose and I really like them. However it is a real pain trying to open the boxes that they come in.  There is this bit you have to rip off and it very often just won't come off in one go. Even when you do rip all of it off you will likely end up ripping off MORE then you're supposed to. But once you do get the box open, here is what the Classic Grissini breadstick looks like. And here it is compared to the Black Olive version. The "Torinesi"  breadsticks are much thinner and for s...

My YouTube channel has gotten its first subscriber... 27 days ago

Image
So it turns out that the YouTube channel I created shortly after my blog already got its first subscriber the day after my first video was uploaded. And I didn't even realise it until a few days ago when I looked at my analytics for the first time. Here's my video celebrating the milestone: My blog on the other hand, as far as I know, can't be subscribed to. Currently my blog only has 2 views. 1 from my Tornadoes post and 1 from my Halloween Squares post. My other 2 posts (the one about Oreos and the one about the Caterpillar sweets) still haven't been viewed by any one. Even the 2 views I do have might just be me viewing them after they were published.

How to make Oreos even better

Image
Do you like Oreos?  Well, a lot of people do. However, many people find them a bit too dry on their own, so they typically like to dunk them in milk. I on the other hand, have a somewhat more fun solution to this problem. Here's what you got to do: First, put at least 4 Oreos in a bowl. After that, pour some milk on top of them(I recommend about 4ml per Oreo, so 20ml if you have 5 Oreos). The next thing you do is get a spoon and with it, mash the Oreos into smaller pieces. While making the Oreo pieces smaller and smaller, they will eventually mix with the milk. As you can see, the milk and the Oreos have now combined into one entity. All that is left to do is to make sure you crush all the lumpy Oreo bits that might be left and you will now have something very nice to um... eat? I have been doing this to Oreos for many years, thinking up of it myself. Has anyone else tried this before me or have I invented something new here? Make sure to let me know if you can.
