The giant 4.5 kg Toblerone chocolate bar

Image
Toblerone is one of my favourite chocolate bars that I've ever had, and when I saw this enormous version of it in M&S last December I knew I had to get it. It was a Christmas present for my mum who also really likes Toblerone chocolate bars. I even walked all the way home while carrying it all by myself and hid it away in a cupboard in my room because I didn't want anyone in my family noticing so that it would be a surprise. It certainly was one. Heres what one piece looks like: As you can see, we had trouble breaking it off without leaving a big spot missing. While it was a present for my mum, she said I could have some of it too. To eat it we had to split it up into bits with a knife. I did once actually try eating one as a whole though. The first bite went well but after that, biting it was just too hard. I had to eventually just accept that I wont be able to finish one of these without either splitting it up first or breaking my teeth. After that it tasted great, but I ...

Clerks (1994) Movie Review (No Spoilers)

Image
I don't want to just talk about food on this blog. I also want to talk about other things like movies. My first movie review will be on Kevin Patrick Smith's directorial debut: Clerks. This movie has of course been a cult classic since its release back in 1994, but I only saw the movie for the first time about 2 weeks ago, so what did I think of it? The movie is about a convenience store employee(or "Clerk"), Dante Hicks (portrayed by Brian Christopher O'Halloran) and his friend Randal Graves (Jeffrey Allan Anderson) who works at the video store next door.  The movie is quite unusual in the sense that there isn't really that much thought being put in to setting up an engaging plot and is instead mostly about funny things happening during a day of Dante and Randal working. I'm guessing the movie is meant to be relatable to people who have had similar jobs to Dante and Randal in real life, but even as a 21 year old who's still never really had a proper j...

Tunnock's Milk Chocolate Teacakes Review

Image
Today's Review will be on milk chocolate teacakes, specifically the ones sold by Thomas Tunnock Limited. They also sell a dark chocolate version but I never had them because I don't like dark chocolate. For those unfamiliar with chocolate teacakes, this is what they look like: This may initially seem like nothing more than strangely shaped chocolate but looks can be deceiving. This is how it looks like when cut in half: As you can see, it's only chocolate on the outside. On the inside, there's a biscuit on the bottom, and this giant marshmallow(well it tastes like a marshmallow but it's much less solid than an actual one) on the top. What an ingenious idea. Here's how the whole marshmallow looks like without the chocolate covering it: Pairing the soft marshmallow with the crunchy biscuit makes for an overall very tasty treat. I find it hard to imagine that anybody wouldn't love eating this unless they're one of those people that hate chocolate, marshmall...
